I was in Dillon for a night and my coworker spoke highly of Mac's Last Cast. Definitely a bar and that' s not a bad thing. Steak, fries and a drink; I"m good. If you want something warm on a cold night Mac's might fit the bill.

I only had one night in Dillon and I was debating where to go. Just stopped by and ordered the prime ribs. It is sooo tender, taste really good. I made the right choice.

Atmosphere was very nice, service was great, however the food was terrible. I ordered a 10 oz rib eye steak that was tough and stringy, cost $30.00 and under cooked. My friend had the NY Strip and it was too tough to eat and cost $38.00. Definitely not worth the price.

Waited 1hr. And 10 minutes for our pasta then it wasnt good at all very dry and no flavor will not be going back

My friend and I went to Mac's Last Cast Monday for lunch. I ordered the Reuben my friend a wrap. My Reuben was very good made on a rye roll instead of bread. My friend liked her wrap. Both of us took half of our lunch home with us.

Wednesday is WING NIGHT! & Monday is Steak Night! Great das to check this place out! Awesome specials, excellent bar tenders and staff. Especially YIM! Good people....good times...all around!Mmmmmmm Tony like wingies!!

Very good burgers and steaks. Went unannounced with a very large group (approx. 20) on a week night and it appears to have slightly overwhelmed the kitchen. The wait staff handled the situation well, by only bringing food for everyone at a single table at one time. Fortunately the group had lots to talk about so it filled the almost 60 minute wait for food.

Amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly and the best French fries!

Great Angus burgers. Nice selection of on-tap beer. Also cocktails. Friendly staff with excellent service. We ate in the bar, also have quieter, nicer restaurant below.

Blacktail is a quiet place, consistent food quality, but it has very few steakhouse options. No filet minion, no small steak choices less than 12 ounces. Just big New York steaks and specials of the same size ribeyes. Used to have more options. The fish options are loaded with salty fatty cheesy toppings. Two rich pasta options, burgers... just not keeping up with current small plate, lighter, healthier appetite trend, surprising for a cafe, bar, steakhouse category restaurant, in a college town. The service is good but gets slow when busy. It's a good option for a quiet intimate place to have a meal and something from its wine and drink options. It tends to cater to the less than fast casual crowd
